Welcome to Wellington, where the recently successful Bangladesh team will be looking to press home another win before the long awaited World Cup 07.

New Zealand won the toss and chose to bat first:

BANGLADESH (261 & 341-7) beat NEW ZEALAND (329 & 270) by 3 wickets.
Man Of The Match: Fleming

A great match with a great scoreline (for us). For the majority of the match, we were under the most pressure but through some great batting by the Ahmed's, we managed to pull off a great chase.

My Aims Revisited:

+Bowl New Zealand out twice.

We did this with ease and now we have shown that our bowlers are capable of bowling against any world team as we build towards the forthcoming World Cup.

+Win the test.

This was a secondary target as I thought that we couldn't really pull off a win on our first away trip of the season - but we did! And how happy was I when I got to tick off that aim!

In perspective, this is promising for the future - and the hope that we shall one day be world number 1 in both forms of the game continues. Also, the build-up to the forthcoming World Cup is now really tense, with many teams believing they have a chance - including us Tigers.

Join us for the second test in the series soon....

When's the next update mate. Looking forward to it.

That's good. I was enjoying the story, before it had a bit of a pause.
