Wrong thread lol

No surprises though, good to see Styris in and Bond back

88/5 to 282 in the end. LOL you guys are up for some major shits from Oz

If only bungles could be more consistent in a match, getting NZ 158/5 and then conceding just shy of 400 runs for the only other wicket to fall, recovering from 196/6 to make 400, recovering from 78/5 to add another 200 runs - it's the failings inbetween that really cost them.

I assume the 339 runs added for the sixth wicket was a kiwi record

you do have to agree with howsie they're looking better.

previously bangladesh players got 100s because they took some chances and got away with them, or just maybe had a really good day where everything worked.

Riyad and Shakib especially have actually just been scoring good scores because they are in form. I can't remember a time when bangladesh has batsmen in century scoring form.

The NZ top order got us to 158/5. It was 80% our own doing. We still have issues up there. McIntosh was the only one who has a case - he got a good ball.

When was the last time you saw a number 8 from anywhere in that sort of form? I think that's as much the surprise as any of it, the distance in the batting between Tamim Iqbal and what is effectively their middle order.
