Hi All,
I am new to this forum and apologies if I have posted in the wrong place.
I had a custom bat made at the start of the season and it has a slight crack on one of the edges and a small dent towards the bottom. It's had a fair amount of use this season - in matches and nets. I would like to keep it in decent condition and wondering what the recommendations are to repair this type of damage?
I am handy DIY'er! I was thinking some sort of glue with clamps for the edge crack. Perhaps some filer and sanding on top? Also, may be some filler and sanding for the small dent at the bottom?
Also, wanted to know how I clamp when the glue is wet as I don't want the clamps to stick to the bat!
Thanks in advance.
