pathan? all-rounder?nonono...hes just a bowler who can hit a ball. Id compare him to Darren Gough in batting terms

lol, i agree, he is not an allrounder, but he is better than Darren Gough.

:D

I thought India rated him as thier next all rounder. In Aus i remember he had a good technique to build on a long inns.

i have to say Pollock He is my favorite player. Also i think that Pollock is better at bowling than Freddie but Freddie is a better batter (technique wise)
we all know how many games South Africa won because of Pollock n Klusener in the last 15 overs.Pollock (when young) was one of the hardest hitters after Klusener. But now ??

Shoaib Malik is rated as one of the best all-rounder's in the world yet he isn't in your list?

I dont know how much bowling malik will do because his action will always be called for chucking and it can be easily fixed cause he hurt his arm in a crash. So i didnt include him.

We expected Ajit Agarkar to be a good allrounder, but he failed miserably in international cricket. Ya, Pathan has a good technique and he is a good batsman alright, but he has to score consistently to reach the levels of an allrounder.

Well India seem to be right on Pathan. Agarkar i never knew how he could be an all rounder. He had the slogging but his defence was a shamble.

Technically, Dravid is the best all rounder. He can bat great, he can wicketkeep, he can bowl and he can field. But in your list Kallis is the best. He's one of the best batsmen in the world. After Tendulkar, Lara and Dravid-in that order. And the 2nd most reliable. After Dravid. He also bowls well, but not as well as in the past.

PIDGEON MCGRATH!!!! nah jks... kallis would have to be my best alrounder... or Sanath Jayasuria

Pathan has a good technique.I wouldnt be surprised to see him as a full fledged all rounder soon

thats a bit over the top, dravid is a great batsman but just because he can bowl doesn't mean he's any good at it. In fact, he's not. i dont think he's bowled more than a hundred overs in his international career. a number of players can keep wicket to dravid's level but are not called upon because most teams can rely on having a proper keeper. definitely one for the "part-timer" class.
