First of all hi to all,have been visiting this forum for months but have never posted until now.PLaying on veteran,medium bowling and batting with easy fielding ive been having some success with bowling although there are times when ive been unable to take wickets despite trying lots of different things.my issue now is what field to set and when so would really appreciate any advice.My usual tactic is to bowl outside off consistently using standard delivery then adding a variation like an inswinger or bouncer a the end of an over but i my last ashes test saw renshaw and burns rack up 160 without loss and i was out of ideas.

Welcome. I'm having problems too choosing field settings so can't help you there......BUT when bowling with fasts/medium bowlers try standard deliveries with more variations of seam position. And inswingers can get outside edges.....and my fave delivery for last ball of the over is to choose bouncer but use a yorker/longer length ball. It stops AI batsmen hitting a last ball of the over to boundary about 80% of the time.
