Gilchrist is the greatest entertainer of all. Be it one day matches or Test matches. He is the crisis man. He is the man who can win Australia a ODI in first 15 overs itself. I always like to see Australia 4-5 down for 150 or 175 runs in Test match, because that's the time you know Gilchrist performs at his best by scoring an effortless, stroke-filled, scintillating century alongwith the Aussie tailenders. He has the power to clear fences... but also has good timing. Fun to watch cricketer.
Probably after Gilchrist would be Afridi and Sehwag.
But on a given day none of the above can match a Lara or a Tendulkar (I really miss the swashbuckling Tendulkar of old... But all good things come to an end at some point or other).
The best entertainer of yester years would be the one and only Sir Vivian Richards. Whatta player!! The King!!
