All those sides are a chance of winning the competition. Wouldn't want to face any of them

Thanks.

Perhaps, although it would have to be a current rest of the world XI (apart from aussies) because otherwise their will not be enough create player spaces.

Good luck with this mate. Seems an interesting idea.

Thanks mate.

Ring a doctor - Ring and McCool suffer serious injuries

The Australian 1946-52 team have suffered a serious shock tonight as both Doug Ring and Colin McCool have suffered serious injuries. McCool chopped off his big tow in an accident while mowing his lawns while Ring was the victim of a Hit and Run crash in Melbourne. He is in a stable condition with concussion and broken legs and pelvis. Both McCool and Ring are expected to be out of cricket for a long time and we wish them both a speedy recovery. The ICC have announced that Australia 1946-52 will be able to replace both players in their 15 man squad. The 4 main contenders are Jack Iverson, Bill O'Reilly, Richie Benaud and Cec Pepper. All four are leg spinners although Iverson can also bowl offspin and Pepper and Benaud are both high quality batsman.

O'Reilly and Iverson replace injured Ring and McCool

B.O'Reilly

LH Tailend Batsman. Leg spinner.

Career Test Stats: 27 Tests, 410 runs at 12.81, HS 56*. 144 wickets at 22.59, BB 7/54.

Time Period Stats: 1 Test. Did not bat. 8 wickets at 4.12, BB 5/14.

J.Iverson

RH Tailend Batsman. Leg spinner (can also bowl offspin).

Career Test Stats: 5 Tests, 3 runs at 0.75, HS 1*. 21 wickets at 15.23,
BB 6/27.

Time Period Stats: Same as Career Stats

Aow Choping off a top would hurt so much!!!

I think an English cricketer (I think it was Fred Titmus) actually did this while mowing the lawns.
