That's a very harsh statment considering he single handedly carried the Australians to victory on many occasions. He had a great ability to judge a run chase and in my opinion he is still good enough to play for Australia but he never will. If he only batted for his average he wouldn't of hit that last ball four to win at the MCG in 1996 he would of just blocked it and been happy with an average boosting not out.
