Goes to show that backing your local talent is always a great move. SA really have relied on their star imports, without them you can see why theyve been pretty average for the last 15 years.

Blizzard- love that guy, so happy for him.

Yeah good win for the Vics. I am gutted for the Redbacks!! Really thought they'd get a Trophy in the cabinet..been a long time coming.
Awesome catch from David Hussey, that turned the game around really quickly, although the 2 wickets up front was a sign.

Aiden Blizzard was awesome, must say he deserved man of the match as those three sixes were good shots in a crucial stage of the Vics innings.

Maybe we'll see a face off in the Champions League.

The banter with the Vics is expected, so crowd boo's are a given especially after Dussey gave them a rev after his catch.

Oh yeah...Redbacks missing Fergal!

Victoria should get better beyond this point, retrieving the services of Siddle, McKay and White from the international team. Harwood too may return from injury. They also showed their depth with Blizzard coming into the side and the rising star of James Pattinson. In the FR Cup last month Chris Rogers made 140 in 116 balls and yet he plays no part of the T20 side, not even as a backup. Michael Hill is another classy young attacking batsman that they appear to have many of.

South Australia definitely have a lot more to think about. Ferguson will return to cricket in the next year and young quick Kane Richardson went to the u-19 World Cup, but that is about it. Klinger is branded as a specialist in the longer versions, but is nevertheless probably capable of something. In the remains of this season, we may see them sussing out their depth.

Don't you just love it when 17,000 all get disappointed at the same time:p

I think when Dave Hussey caught that bowl, he wasn't mouthing off to the crowd, but when you see the replay, you can see a group of people jump up in excitement, presuming they're Victoria's, so he was saluting to them I think.

Vics were always the favorites. SA can only improve from here, and I reckon missing Afridi in the final may have played its part. Strong performance from the Vics and look at Nannes' figures

Yay, Glad Victoria won it. SA did well, but the wheels started to fall off. They lost their momentum with that huge loss to NSW. Missing Afridi was obviously a huge blow.

Without Afridi, they're bowling lacks the ability to contain a team.

It's unlikely they will have Pollard either.
