Congrats Perth well deserved CL spot and if they can keep their IPL players they will be a team to watch. Would be looking at a lineup like:
Shaun Marsh
Gibbs
North
Hussey
Mitch Marsh
Ronchi
NCN
Johnson (Don't know if he's allowed or not).
Rimmington
Hogg
Edmondson/Beer
Lol, no Simon Katich??

Forever getting his ass kicked outta WA. :p

Katich is pretty woeful, Collingwood is the only one making him look good. I mean who else do you drop for S. Marsh and M. Hussey? coz they are some of the best T20 players going around.

I really enjoyed the game, Inverity stand is awesome, best seats ever. On a sour note I would have to say I am disgusted at the quality of the crowd tonight, at first I thought it was aa good crowd but towards the end they just started to get dangerous, I thought I was in a cage with a pack of dogs, lucky I was safe in the good stand haha. but just the pure disrespect for people has destroyed any last amount of faith I had in the Human Race :(

Is that the stand up in the tiers? Its good up there ay. Good view.

But feck, too many pissheads simple as that!

Well I put the kiss of death big time on Melbourne. Too bad Gibbs was the one tearing them apart, but can blame Wright for dropping him on the boundary early. Warney had zero luck too, missed stumping and a bunch of skied balls that fell safe.

The Scorchers deserve their place in the final though and it should be another sellout in Perth, so it's a good sign for the game.

I'll be watching even when Sydney crashes out tonight. The likes of Birt, Shah, Jaques, Naved and Krejza will make it hard for us to pull off the upset. Resting my hopes on Lee to tear through the top order.

And I thought you city-dwellers would be used to large crowds of pissheads?

Haha.. Yeah I'm used to them when I go out.

But at the cricket, its meant to be a gentlemans game, I thought the crowd would be a bit more respectful.

It seems the crowds are gettting younger and younger though, so more rowdiness. I remember going to domestic games when I was like 13, 14 and it wasn't this bad.

Add to the fact that I don't drink, so its hard to tolerate annoying drunk yobos.

(Few quite tokes of a joint behind the stands ftw :thumbs)

kat actually has a better strike rate than the osos, both careerwise and even for the season. marsh blows hot and cold a bit, katich very underrated, would suit a team with a sketchier top order.

I've been hearing quite a few of those stories about the drunken affairs going on at the WACA in these Big Bash matches, certainly doesn't sound great.

Would be good to see the Sixers go through as they have a pretty handy side at full strength with Cummins, Starc and Lee in the pace attack then McCullum, SOK, MacGill covering the spin.

I mean there is no problem with having a few drinks and having a good time, but to actually have no respect for the people around you and causing a scene and acting like an animal is just not on. But I reckon Perth is the worst for drunk white trash, yes i said white trash haha, the place is full of it. its bloody Kings Cross wherever you go in Perth haha.

Katich was good for NSW in particular in their inaugural CL win. But he just doesn't suit the Perth side who have a heap of steady batsmen.

Yeah, its horrible. I think its because the WACA is such a small ground perhaps? Who knows. But there is certaintly a lack of respect from the crowd. I would never take my grandma to a 20/20.. I'd probably take her to a Shield game though. :p

Pretty passionate breed over here. :D

I love going to the shield coz it is full of grandmas haha, the people there are there for the cricket and are good to talk to.

I don't think it has anything to do with being passionate, i reckon at least half the people there didnt know what was going on on the pitch.

Lumb dropped, SOK and Henriques to open. Look forward to seeing what SOK can do with a full 20 overs available.

Why do Sydney bat McCullum down the order so far? He's a much better T20 batsman domestically than number eight, especially considering only one the guys above him has played international cricket.
