BLC installation.....uggh

cna anyone please help?
everytime i try to install BLC (sold out version) with the setup.now (sold out) says its detecting the System Configurations then it says : ERROR #53- File not found!!!
please help BTW i m trying to run this game on XP

give some more details .
DOes the setup give the name of the missing file?
at what point setup is cancelling?

Its not true, there's a XP patch somewhere with that it will work on XP.

ahh nuts i chucked my disc away as it would not work with Xp. Oh only if I had found these forums sooner. a All 2 years sooner
