BLC on Windows 2000 - I am getting this error in Windows 2000.

Hello Everybody,

I am a huge fan of BLC ever since I played the demo. Now, I've bought the CD and have installed the game on Windows 2000. I have also downloaded the file from 'Baz's website. Now, the problem is that the game is starting and I am able to navigate thru it. But once I select the teams and the controller and try to proceed, I get an error saying

Debug Error!
Program E:Brian Lara Cricketsoftware.exe
DAMAGE: after Normal block (#138) at 0x01751720.

(Press Retry to Debug the Application)


Has anyone faced the same problem? Any solutions for this?

I tried installing the same patch for XP on my friends P.C which is an Intel based P.C on an 810e M/B. He also has a same problem. But I have an IBM Cyrix and it works perfectly fine on it. Probably it is something M/B related or something to do with the driver for XP.

i too have a 810e chipset and it works perfectly.I think there may be some trouble with the file.I think you should use baz's solution and his exe file to run the game or i could send you my own file.
