Loving the game and forgive me if this info is buried somewhere else.
When bowling what is the best technique to deliver a lethal bouncer to the chest or head?
and
Is there a quick way to set basic preset fields when fielding? I was fiddling about during an on-line game and found it tricky.

Thank you.

I think, bowling a good bouncer, mostly depends on how much late and how subtle you press the right stick for delivering the ball....

I imagine they didn't include any fatalities in the game.

To bowl a bouncer you must wait until the very latest possible before pulling down/pushing up the analog stick (it helps a lot if you use the bowling HUD).

The other thing to understand is each difficulty level has different optimal times to time the release for a ideal, early or late delivery. Do the practice mode with the difficulty level of choice with the bowling meters on and with the tutorial mode turned on. This will slow the game right down at the point of optimal for both the jump and bowl action and let you see where your player is at the time to be able to judge when the optimal time to move the control sticks is.

Alternatively, disable the tutorial mode and just video record yourself with a phone or something going through the motions with the bowling indicators turned on to see the part of the animation the bowler is at when the dials reach the optimum points.

Secondly, helps if you're on a good pitch that promotes bounce, and obviously, with a nice tall fast bowler. I have been struggling getting anything more than a few inches over the bails even with a short ball and early pitched delivery with my fresh career pace man.. but when I tried Mitchel Johnson in a casual match on a hard pitch, first bouncer smacked the batsman fair in the grill.. second was a full pitched swining screamer that thumped into the pad for a plumb LBW decision.. just your typical Mitch work (made me whoop in delight I must say).

You must have a different version of the game to me then....I choose to bowl a short ball and just bowl it while holdin' down R1 as I run in, bouncer accomplished.

Well then you're losing out on a lot by not manipulating the timing of pushing up on the right stick. Releasing it later makes for a shorter delivery.

Talkin' to me? I don't need no tips kid.

The manual and tutorial mode also have some really good tips :thumbs

And now he's delusional. I seriously have no idea what you mean there mate

Let's focus on the game shall we...instead of how much you dislike me, might get along then ;)
