I always had a problem when Im batting I tend to break the toe end of my bat, when trying to hit a six or hitting yorkers. Sometimes i even end up bashing the bat onto the ground. It happened to three bats now(and one of them wasnt even mine) and the other was a grade 1 willow bat. Does anyone have any ideas on how i could stop doing this or know what im doing wrong? Im going to have to declare bankruptcy if this continues and say goodbye to the season.

When I first saw this thread I thought you were going to ask advice on how to break peoples toes when bowling! 
To answer the question, use a toe guard, and don't bash the toe of the bat on the ground.

What he said, just use a toe guard. Same thing used to happen to me, put on a toe guard and didnt happen again.

Or if you don't get Shoo Glue. Don't know if you guys have heard of it or anything, lasts longer than normal toe guards and has takes more impact then a regular toe guard.
