Brian Lara Cricket 2007 Bugs

I run out Ricky Ponting with Paul Collingwood - a direct hit from the boundary .....! It knocked out middle and leg at the bowler's end

How realistic (in a way)

I saw Shoaib Malik complete a direct hit from Fine leg to the bowlers end, so its not all farfetched.

And Collingwood is one o England's better fielders

Thought i would post this so people can see what im talking about. The field is also the same for Strauss.

Honestly, how do these things get through testing. :noway

you seem to be scoring at about 5.5 per over - that seems a pretty realistic run rate.

assuming that you're "trying" as opposed to deliberatly not going for a high score, they seem to be controlling your run rate quite well.

Fraid not, im holding back, i have deliberatly only taken one boundry per over since the 15 th over. Its the only way i can keep myself interested and get some sort of a challenge. I could hit almost every ball for four if i tried.

I could be wrong, infact many say i am, often. But, i think that codies have messed up the field settings, i think the field setting used in tests are actually supposed to be used in odi's, or at least the fields the cpu decides to use.

I just started playing a test match, before a delivery has been bowled the cpu has 2/3 fielders on the boundry. Yet in the 40th over of an odi, the runrate very high they have one boudry rider? Go figure

These are minor bugs , i am sure some one can modify the fielding stuff like on 07.

No but they have been made for Cricket 07 , i understand different coding and stuff but i am a optimist :D

For the console owners (who seem really mad by the way :rtfl ) by a PC .

Realistically as a consumer you pay $100 AUS for a game and you expect it to have minimal bugs. You shouldn't expect people and yourself to waste time and fix these bugs. I'm disappointed Codies have missed out here, I realistically think the producers never trialled in a 50 over match because all the screens I've seen so far by Codies have been 10-20 over games.

I thought i'd start this off.

First Bug

When playing a 50 overs one day international match the cpu ai do not put more fielders on the boundry, even if you are going at 10 runs per over, making scoring very easy. This on test level. :noway

cant believe it have codies forgot about test cricket ,no test series to play and surely the biggest ever bug NO CLOCK!!!!!! looks ok for pyjama cricket but what about the real thing im stumped

Another one is when there is no-one backing up at the stumps and the fielder over throws the ball letting the batsmen take 3 runs ! One run maybe but not 3 !

Hopefully they will get a patch out quickly for the Xbox.

Doesnt sound too flash at the moment, at least playing against other peeple might keep the interest alive.

Currently experiencing the Best.Bug.Ever, i just finished a game on live and went back to my test match, so i could finish it, and low and behold, all the names of the players are correct :D. The names of both the batsmen and bowlers are all correct, it may be a sneaky way around licensing by Codies, or a bug but it pwns :D

Just getting a screenie now, will be from my phone though, so not the best quality :P

1st Screen of bug
2md Screen of bug
