Hello and welcome to highlights of the first innings of the match between Hong Kong and Kenya at Lord's. It was a mild sunny day and the match was played on a wicket that would suit both batting and bowling. Kenya won the coin toss and elected to bowl first. Listed below are the last names of the players in the selected teams.

Hong Kong:
  1. Smart
  2. Cherumparab
  3. French
  4. Sharma
  5. Dar
  6. Gul
  7. Amar
  8. Lamsam
  9. Khan
  10. Haider
  11. Lama

Kenya:
  1. Otieno
  2. Shah
  3. Tikolo
  4. Modi
  5. Odumbe
  6. Odoyo
  7. Obuya
  8. Obuya
  9. Ongondo
  10. Suji
  11. Suji

The match began and Kenya played much better. Hong Kong's batsmen struggled to hit the ball and lost their first wicket with the score on just one:
sfirstwicket0lm.png

After that the Hong Kong batsmen seemed unable to adapt to conditions in the United Kingdom and lost many wickets. The second wicket was a catch in the infield:
ssecondwicket4xw.png

The third wicket to fall was another comfortable catch:
sthirdwicket5fb.png

The fourth wicket to fall was a diving catch:
sfourthwicket0dz.png

After that the Hong Kong batsmen were not able to score runs while at the same time preserve wickets and many were caught out, some were bowled out and some were run out. Below is the scorecard:
sscorecard0wq.png

Each bowler played their part. Below is the bowling figures:
sbowlingfigures9kq.png

Kenya needed twenty-eight runs to win from ten overs. That seemed very achieveable for a team that had reached the semi-finals of the ICC Cricket World Cup South Africa 2003.

Hello and welcome to highlights of the second innings of the match between Hong Kong and Kenya at Lord's. Kenya required a very achieveable twenty-eight runs to win from ten overs.

Hong Kong's bowlers were simply not good enough to even worry the Kenyan batsman, and they scored many boundaries in their innings:
sfourruns2si.png

It took them a very short time to score the required amount of runs, but it was still a relief for the Kenyan batsmen to cross the line:

Kenya scored the required amount of runs without losing a wicket. Below is the scorecard:
sscorecard8ke.png

The bowlers did not have an answer to the Kenyan batsmen's stroke play. Below is the bowling figures:

Kenya were hardly stretched in their first match. Below is the standings:

C'mon UAE! :)
I think you'll be using the UAE patch I made for C2K4? In that case, UAE are gonna win :) :D

Hello and welcome to highlights of the first innings of the match between Netherlands and United Arab Emirates at the Brit Oval. It was a mild sunny day and the match was played on a wicket that would suit both batting and bowling. United Arab Emirates won the coin toss and elected to bowl first. Listed below are the last names of the players in the selected teams.

Netherlands:
  1. Kloppenburg
  2. Schiferli
  3. van Noortwijk
  4. Zuiderent
  5. de Leede
  6. van Troost
  7. van Bunge
  8. Scholte
  9. Esmeijer
  10. Smits
  11. Raja

United Arab Emirates:
  1. Saeed
  2. Ali
  3. Usman
  4. Naeemuddin
  5. Khan
  6. Maqsood
  7. Ali
  8. Tauqir
  9. Rehman
  10. Asad
  11. Latif

The match began and United Arab Emirates started much better. Netherland's batsmen struggled to hit the ball and would have lost their first wicket but for a dropped catch:
pepsicupnetherlandsagainstunit.png

After that the Netherlands lost their first wicket via a run out, but their batsmen seemed to adapt quickly to the conditions in the United Kingdom and scored many runs before they lost their second wicket. It was an excellent infield catch:
pepsicupnetherlandsagainstunit.png

The third wicket to fall was bowled:
pepsicupnetherlandsagainstunit.png

The fourth wicket to fall was another diving catch:
pepsicupnetherlandsagainstunit.png

The fifth wicket to fall was a simple catch:
pepsicupnetherlandsagainstunit.png

During their innings, the Netherlands batsmen had a constantly high run rate and really put the United Arab Emirates bowlers under pressure. Below is the scorecard:
pepsicupnetherlandsagainstunit.png

Each bowler did well, but were simply conceded too many runs. Below is the bowling figures:
pepsicupnetherlandsagainstunit.png

United Arab Emirates needed one hundred and eight runs to win from ten overs. That seemed a very difficult target for a minnow such as them.

Its a 10-10 match, so its actually a fairly high total.
But I'm sure the boys can do it! :)

Hello and welcome to highlights of the second innings of the match between Netherlands and United Arab Emirates at the Brit Oval. The United Arab Emirates needed a very challenging one hundred and eight runs to win from ten overs.

The Netherlands did not start well and the United Arab Emirates batsman played nicely, but they lost their first wicket to a leg before wicket decision:
pepsicupnetherlandsagainstunit.png

It took the Netherlands until the very next ball to take the second wicket, bowled out:
pepsicupnetherlandsagainstunit.png

The third wicket to fall was to another leg before wicket decision:
pepsicupnetherlandsagainstunit1.png

In the end, the United Arab Emirates batsmen fell just short of the required amount, causing agony through their team:
pepsicupnetherlandsagainstunit.png

The Netherlands bowlers looked worried that they might have lost at some points, so they were very happy to defend their total:

The United Arab Emirates batted well, but began to panic towards the end and were run out too many times. Below is the scorecard:
pepsicupnetherlandsagainstunit1.png

The bowlers conceded a lot of runs, but some took wickets to help win the match. Below is the bowling figures:
pepsicupnetherlandsagainstunit4.png

After all, the match was close. Below is the standings:

Well Done Lee, this thread was good better would of been a lot better if you had a final between the 2 top teams or something. It was too short tbh.
