Well I know for a fact that both have the same storylines - all of them do. And let me tell you now - the storyline is the BEST I've seen in any game - ever. I nearly cried!!

As for the MP, PS3 has some problems, but XBOX live seems to be pretty much error free. Personnal choice I would expect.

My advice would be to get it for the MP capabilities. If you have that on both, get the cheapest version

Is PC singleplayer mode a similar length to the other CoD games?

The single player took me 9 hours to complete on hardened. When you complete it, you unlock arcade mode, a fantastic edition. Im playing the game back through on veteran with arcade mode trying to beat my high scores.

Arcade mode is simply what it says it is, you get points for kills, and assists and so on. Then at the end all the points made are added up and you can submit them off to Infinity Ward to go onto a high score list.

It adds a lot of scope to the SP, which is otherwise trumped by the fantastic multiplayer unlocks and features.

According to my xfire stats it took me 6 hours to complete CoD 2 - which I did on veteran first because I only rented it. I found it much easier than I found CoD4.

I bought this game the other day, and i can confirm that it is excellent, the highest in game settings make the game look fantastic. The single player is exciting, and i have now completed it on normal (or regular i forget) and will be replaying it soon on veteran. Its a little short, but some of the missions are mind blowing. Multi player is also a real blast, although i kinda suck, im up to rank 20 ish so far, i tend to play on the hardcore servers as bullet damaged is more realistic, the hud is no longer available and the iron sights need to be used to aim effectively.

Pingusten, maybe we should meet up for a game sometime, i could do with someone watching my back. Having a mic also makes team games much better.

Yeah, that'd be great. Finally someone else to play with rather than my woeful cousin!

I'm on Rank 20 now after a bug reset my stats. I'd recommend keeping a back up of your stats folder.

can some one help me...
i got it on 360, is there a way to play split screen multiplayer with a team so we have suppose 4 or 5 player on each team and i mean AI team mates not human's/// coz i can only play 2 player with me and my mate no AI players
