Thaks Buddy for such a great application. Now one more favour I want from you buddy. Please tell the the procedure of proceeding with your application to alter the shots and camera setting. If I do anything wrong without knowing exactly how to do it then the game will be meshed up..

Thanks dude

Is it possible to replace the default camera with a ball-track one,
the one we see in replay.

OK the best thing for me to do is to edit the cameras on request, and see what I can come up with, and then post the config files here for you to import into your game.

As for how to edit the cameras, it' pretty simple:

Position - position of camera, and gives x, y, z co-ordinates
Target - fives camera target, x, y, z, co-ords
FOV - zoom level - up to zoom in, down to zoom out

things like Ball, Batsman, Fixed, Bowler give the positions/targets of the cameras.

e.g.
Position Batsman 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000
Target Ball 0.000000 0.000000 0.100000

looks from the batsman's waist, looking 0.1 units above the ball

Simple

Can you change the replay cameras because we need a Square leg camera for replay

yeah, but they aren't included in the list.txt. i couldn't be bothered to try it, but if you juat find the offest where they start using a hex editor, you should be able to edit them, no probs.

Tom

Good work, Ill thank you once I learn how to use the editor right now I am just staring at bunch of hex code

I changed the values to get a camera angle, basically meant for bowling which targets the yorker region and it is positioned a bit ahead of the bowler. It works well but shakes a bit as the bowler approaches the crease which maybe because the bowler's waist moves a bit. Is it possible to position it with respect to the bowler's eye, etc so that it becomes a better one? Here are my values:
Position Bowler 0.000000 0.400000 0.200000
Target Fixed 0.000000 0.000000 3.000000

Hi everyone,

I have edited three cameras:

1. The default camera has been changed to the one which is located way away form the wicket but uses high focus and targets the ball (somewhat similar to what you see in TV).
So, now you won't be able to see the whole wicket but only the bowler initially.
As he would move towards the pitch the view changes and you see from an apparently moving camera. Just have a look at it by trying the cfg.
It should be used only for batting.

2. Above Camera has been changed to a bowling camera and you nearly get the same view what the bowler gets.

3.Reverse has been zoomed a bit.

well done mate.

Does your camera show the stadium at any point? The reason I ask is that I had problems with the stadium showing up as plain green, but that was when I edited the Actio camera, so it may be different to that....

The cameras I have changed are for batting and bowling and therefore are way away from the stadium, so it does not show the stadium.

But, when i was editing the default camera, i intially attempted to place the camera over the head of the umpire and targeting the ball.

But, I saw plain green till the bowler (or ball) crossed the umpire.

Maybe the camera is unidirectional.

Anyway, when i had low focus set and from a big distance(position),The stadium was visible but it was plain green.

So, maybe the default camera does not allow to show the stadium and same maybe true for action camera. But, I have tested the reverse camera shows the stadium, anyway.
