can't change playing control?

hi everybody,

I just downloaded Ashes 09 and its working perfectly fine.

The problem i am facing is I am unable to change any controls. Whenever I go to options, it doesn't show any controllers and I am unable to change it either... even when I use "<-" "->" buttons, it still doesn't display any controllers

I am forced to play with the default keyboard functions.

I tried searching for this through the forums but couldn't find anything similar.

Can someone kindly help me on this please?

You cant change keyboard controls,use a 360 gamepad controller if you are not comfortable with keyboard........

Try Installing the BETA Patches, they add support for game controllers

BTW , did you do a Torrent download or a Direct download from Rapidshare etc. ?

Fix for those whose gamepad is not supported in the game but works in other games:

1)Download Latest version of Xpadder by googling it. Install it.

2) Write down all the controls for keyboard on a paper.

3)Run xpadder and assign each keyboard key to be used in the game to a button on controller. This way you can use controller in the game but game would think you are using a keyboard.
