Haven't unlocked a single perk but this is fantastic news . Will keep grinding
Also I noticed small incriment xp gained via training drills, I think this came in the last patch. DBC OG had training xp so this is a greater throwback feature
 
Has anyone found out if we can copy an academy player as a new rookie in career mode , it could be done in Ashes cricket , but had a quick look yesterday but couldn't see it as an option ...

I think they have. The right armers i face tend to bowl over the wicket but as a RHB i'm constantly facing deliveries from the leg side because it seems that about 75% of the bowlers are left armers. I don't know what % of bowlers are left armers irl but it seems strange considering about 10% of the global pop are left handed!
 
Does anyone know the record for the oldest international debutant? At this rate i think i'm on course to break it lol. Has anyone made it out of club level yet?

Yes. Toggle your selection difficulty settings to Easy or Easiest if you are struggling to progress.
 
Interesting observation playing career today. I was batting with a team mate on 160* and quite low on stamina. I made him dive for his crease attempting a run and it flashed up briefly on the score hud that he was injured with a strain of some sort. He was fine by the next game.

Also, I got promoted up the batting order after a couple of decent scores, and made an unbeaten 120. Still no sight of ending my club career.
 
Just a bit of a random question, I am playing on Nintendo switch...

If I start the career mode and the day 1 patch which is still to come out for switch, comes later.. will it reflect on here?
 
There is a game breaking glitch when you get your first International cap. The game crashes when your awarded it and you can't fix it. So if you play for England or Australia, I would maybe skip your first test

It's ridiculous that it's not an option. Spend hours making your player just right, then go to use him in career and surprise! Make him all over again! So far it's stopped me starting a career because I just can't justify spending that time getting him just right all over again when I've already spent hours on it.
 
Is anybody else having the exact same pitches for every single career game? I'm playing an NZ career, and literally every pitch I've played on in 2 entire seasons is "Grassy, Very Soft."

I've been changing it (Closing my eyes and scrolling through randomly...) but thought there would've been a "random" option?

It's not a massive deal, as I'm finding the rest of the game as enjoyable as Don 14 (The greatest IMO), but thought somebody might know something I've missed.

Yeah it’s never randomised. Not sure it is in any other mode either. Can anyone confirm?
