Kumar Sangakkara and Misbah Ul Haq have expired contracts, but not retired, as they are in List-A Cricket.

Few teams have 7 Overseas and 6 Overseas. all the teams will be reduced to 6 overseas

this is what @VC the slogger as posted to me via PM

I wouldn't count Misbah and Sangakkara as retired if I were you.

Misbah's retired from ODIs alright, but he's still likely to turn up in a few List-As every now and then in order to prepare for Test series. Even Ponting and Chanderpaul did that. One can't have T20 alone if he's still playing Tests, and the ones that did like Tendulkar etc ended up performing miserably during their twilight years.

Meanwhile, Sangakkara's gonna play a year or two of county cricket in all formats. That definitely means he ain't retired from List-As either.
