Disagree - league managers become influential in this section by running good leagues.
Look at Biggy's Australian Premier League - he hadn't run a league, barely managed any teams in other people's leagues, but came up with one of the best-run leagues on the forum. That's how he became - as you put it - influential.
@The Author- I genuinely consider your first league, BetFred30 as one of the most enthusiastic leagues I've played with. It had a cool fitness system. The league had only 4 managers, maybe that's the reason it's not here in the list.
"Are you a cricketing expert?" by arun_8 had a innovative idea too. It had no simulation of games. The winner will the one who gets the best team on paper.
Wow I totally forgot that I actually won a season in the AfPL, and that's probably one of my greatest achievements here to date.
Some great leagues up there, consider myself lucky to have taken part in a handful of them. The original Associate PL was particular enjoyable as well as Legends at Battle. Concepts that were a breath of fresh air here.
I may have missed some as I don't participate in too many leagues these days myself. Also, not to get greedy, but I'm a bit surprised ELA has never made it to the list till date.
