Caribbean Premier League Season 4 - Trading Window open

Get lost, look at my round robin record, I should have every right to choose what pitch I want...

Ok, I reckon Callum should be able to choose his pitch for the semi. The final is a different story though. Either the 2 final's managers should agree to a pitch type or you just pick one at random.

Iridium, if we play each other in the final, it will be an excellent pitch then :)

Well my amount of points eat anyone in the other groups points for breakfast, so IMO I think I should still get to choose the pitch type.

Anyway, lets focus on the semis... :spy

Our semi should be a pretty a good match, considering it's between the two teams who've been the best throughout the round robin in both season one and season two.

The semi-finals of the season two Credit Suisse Championship are scheduled to be played on Wednesday February 23 and the finals day on Sunday. Each match has one reserve day. Places for the national finals day of the Credit Suisse Championship will be decided on Saturday. Following recent wins against Antigua & Barbuda Pirates and The Jamaican Abusement Park are top of the group A & B with 38 points from ten games and 20 points respectively, and if they remain there it will guarantee them a home game in the finals day, to be played on Sunday February 27. The winners of the previous season, Grenada, are also still in the competition and on Wednesday morning will play with Antigua & Barbuda Pirates at Antigua. The Jamaican Abusement Park looked like making the most of their surprise chance at Barbados as they toiled early on in their innings. "The fact we've got there shows we're playing good cricket this season, in the one-day discipline. " said Riz

"We've got a good record and that gives us plenty of confidence going into the semis. And the crowd have been great in our six home games but the disappointment thing is that we only won a game." he added. The Guyana had expected to play Jamaican Abusement in the semi-finals. Antigua & Barbuda Pirates and The Jamaican Abusement Park were the first two teams to qualify for their semi-finals and have been joined by Guyana and Grenada, on Wednesday. "We've got a 100 per cent record at home so far and now if we progress well we can make it seven out of seven. Chanderpaul has been brilliant with bat, and then there are unsung heroes in the team, guys who maybe haven't had a chance so far in the competition but are just as good." said Callum.

"We've got the second semi-final game so that means we won't have much of a break if we get through to the final." he added. McCullum enhanced his burgeoning reputation with believable 103 off 73 balls - in the quarter-finals against Barbados. "We're very keen as a squad to prove they can be a success and to play in front of our home fans on finals day would be a massive occasion," said Hedger. Pirates remained unbeaten throughout the whole season in the group stage as opponents struggled to match their high scoring. "To be part of winners in the previous season was massive, and to be there again is great," said Truman.

Bloody hell, I hate poor pitches. We're going to lose because of a bloody pitch. I don't think I've even won a match this season on a poor pitch. I'm going to make a couple of changes to my lineup.
