Maheesh Theekshana dismisses Mir Hamza to win a thriller for the Super Kings! Multan Sultans, despite losing their way after the Rizwan-Agha partnership, were well en route to securing a comfortable win before things went completely haywire. Theekshana removed fellow countryman Wanindu Hasaranga to give Jaffna a ray of hope, which was immediately capitalized on by Kasun Rajitha making Khushdil Shah chop one on and reduced the Sultans to 187/9, making the last 8 runs appear like a mountain.

Dusty - Plenty of turn on offer for spinners and a good place to bat for spin-savvy batsmen. Good pace bowlers are still likely to thrive.
Even - Provides an evenly balanced contest for all disciplines.
Flat - A batsman-friendly pitch which provides little or no assistance to bowlers. Expect big totals.
Green - A lot of movement on offer early on, making it ideal for fast bowlers. Batting expected to become easier as the match progresses.
Hard - Ideal conditions for batting. Good deal of bounce on offer for fast bowlers as well. Could go either way
Dry/Slow - Ideal for slow and spin bowlers as the name suggests. Sometimes quite difficult to bat on.
Poor - Massively in favor of bowlers and an absolute nightmare to bat on. Expect a slow hard grind for very few runs.
