He always seems to improve out of sight in my games averaging better than a majority of the english batsmen is this just me or does anybody else have that happen

Christopher Taylor doesn't play for Derbyshire, does he? Cause I just signed him recently.
He's been great for me as an opener. Doesn't keep wicket, wasn't too good at that. He is also a useful bowling option...

i had him as back up for lanc in a game but he allways seemed to have a good youth ahead of him to be given a chance, he prob would of had better stats if i had played him more, but his 2nd team avg was only about 40, where as i always had youths with a 2nd team avg of around 55

That's the thing. He can get big scores, but is a tad inconsistent. Once settled in though, he is impossible to dismiss. Last season he had 1 fifty for me in FC cricket, and 5 centuries! Highest of 153. Good average too, he missed some of the season with injury.

there is 2 chris taylors one for derbys and one for gloucestershire

Ah. I think I have Gloucestershires one, as he wasn't in my starting squad and I signed him as a keeper/bat. RHB, OS bowler, Keeper.

he should average 34 in first class and 17 in Oneday if i rememeber correctly

I don't remember to be honest. I just needed another batsman and keeper, low cash, Taylor looked good, so I signed him.
