Chromecast vs Firestick vs Alternatives?

My smart TV has been acting up of late. Having frequent Netflix , YouTube and Yupptv crashes while viewing.

Don't want to buy a new TV cause of the expense and the current one is quite good-picture wise and all.

Was thinking of investing in something like a Chromecast or Amazon Firestick. What would you guys recommend here?

My viewing is usually Netflix YouTube, Disney+...

I'm using Firestick Plus (with Sony Liv, voot & zee5 annual subscription) since December last year, having decent experience. In every few days there are small updates sort of improvement.
A bit lags only while starting, rest all fine.

My research does point me towards Amazon. This definitely is another +1 in that direction.

NVIDIA Shield, if you have the money

I will also recommend the Nvidia shield. It's a bit pricy but well worth the investment. Been using my first one for over 4 years, I bought another one for my tv downstairs 2 years ago

Damn, Amazon cannot ship the Firestick to Hong Kong for the time being.

Anyone used Roku stick before?
