Well, this might have happened to most of them playing Cric 2005. Just now it happened to me...Playing a Test Match - Pak vs Srl...The First Day's play ended..SRL resumed the second days play..5 overs into the second day...THE UMPIRES TOOK THE PLAYERS OFF...For END OF DAY!!!
The Game Resumed...From Afternoon session of Day1 !!!

So, by TEA on 'Day 1' about 137 overs have been bowled....a new record indeed :D ...

Is there any patch/fix for solving the problem or do we have to 'adjust' with it :D ....

This might be a problem on one count...Imagine we are trying to save a test match on Day 5..and all of a sudden if the clock reverts to Day 4

If you have PC version, then use mchEditor to change the time.

Thanks for the Link and quick reply....

I want to know one thing...I found out that it requires that .net software and also it requires some Windows Installer 2.0....Do I need this?

I mean do i have to download both or just that .net....

And I hope installing that .net thingy doesnt affect my system :D

it shouldnt affect your system-most cric05 editors need the net runtime 2.0 thing...

Oh Thanks..but in that same page there is some SW Required : Windows Installer 3.1 download...do i have to d/l this as well

well if you dont have it then download it- it shouldnt ruin your system-these downloads are genrally approved windows things

Here;s your solution!

When the session is closed/over, u might me skipping the scene when all the
players walks out of the ground, don' t do that, let time leave the field,
and when you start the next session, it will be new session, its very simple,
same thing, when batsman gets out, skip the reply only when it starts,
otherwise, the same batsman will come again, its very simple and you don;'t
need any patch for this. I have done it many times. I have also put on
thread on "how to skip time in Test match", go through it if you like to skip
the time in test match.

Actually what happened was..the players left the field at the end of Day 1...Day 2 started..after 5 overs...the umpire removed the bails and took the players off..the menu showed 'END OF DAY'....on resuming I saw the time had reverted back to afternoon session of Day1

Anyway, Thanks to you also aks_group..WILL keep in mind your solution

Another bug i have noticed atleast 4 times over the last 2 weeks is, at 1 pm the umpires takes the players off for Lunch...they are back at 1.40 for post-lunch session...after 5 overs the umpires again remove the bails and take the players off for Lunch :p ...

Maybe Lunch wasnt prepared the first time around :D or the players might have appealed for Lunch again :D

lol and also when the new ball is been given it keeps and popping up that the team has taken the new balls! gets annoying!!

Here's my Update on using mcheditor :

As I said, that the clock reverted back to Day 1...since SRL were bowled out in about 137 overs I set the match to Day 2 -> 3 pm (Using mcheditor ) ...so my batting started...but at 3.45 the umpires never took the players off for Tea...the Match continued during that period...No Break...

In fact at this stage I got scared about the mcheditor:D ..I was wondering whether the umpires WILL EVEN continue play after 6.05 pm as well..but luckily though... at 6.10pm the Umpires took the players off...

Ok, Now whats with the NO TEA BREAK :D
