Commonwealth Bank Series

What has happened to Bracken? It's as if his completely dropped off in the last few weeks.

Middle Order really let down Punter & Haydos though. Couldn't of asked for a better start but couldn't of imiganed a worse ending.

Absolutely terrific knock from Colly. He is a superb ODI all-rounder and has just turned this from a definite loss to a win. Brilliant stuff

Sloppy from Australia though, missed chances in the field and an awful ending to their innings.

England deserved it really. Neither team was brilliant but England's batting in the middle order was superb

How can u say "just turned this from a definite loss to a win" ????? we had only scored 252 , its not all hard . so it was ur day , our day will come in the next match , we r going to back in such a way , we will demolish them :gundown :cutit

Corrected.
Please write proper English, at least in a game involving England.

Yes well you can't always expect every people to always write proper English all the time and that is a true fact.

Fabulous bit of cricket by Collingwood. After the first few overs i was just wishing we'd chucked England out of the country and played against New Zealand(Who'd at least give us a fight)...but i take that back and i hope the next few games to be as competetive.Cheers England!

all they need now is to call up owais shah

What do you mean by this?? The batting seems fine to me, Loye and Strauss both had bad decisions and Joyce played a loose shot. I don't get your reason for calling Shah into the squad.

I agree with The Spin as this was one of the greatest fightbacks in ODI's, England were looking down and out after 1-170 but they fought back brilliantly, also they appeared down and out when they were 3-15. I wouldn't be so confident and cocky mate, Buchanan said in the series he wanted a challenge because he felt they were playing two of the weaker teams and he then talks about scoring 400+ and winning every game.

Watching one of the natwest series games on youtube. Kevin Pietersen absolutely destroying Jason Gillespie, commentary was brilliant. "Shades of Vivan Richards" was quoted towards Pietersen's successive sixes. "Bigger! Bigger!! And BIGGER!!!" and that was Australian's 4th loss in a row for that series aswell.

Wow seems like it was a good game. If it wasn't for school I would've watched it.
Collingwood did great today and hopefully we can go on to win the final which will give us confidence for the World Cup

Australia are losing games too early.
They should be losing all this in the WC !

Anyways, superb win for England.

It's amazing when looking back on the game. How did England end up winning when they were down for the count twice. Australia seem a little shady heading into the WC now.

Lee was firing and Hogg was too, although the figures don't point that out. Batting is at the point where there is too much relying on that top order. At least theres a sign of good consistent form from Hayden but Gilchrist's is looking down now.

Collingwood is too good, such an asset to the English team nowadays. Brilliant Knock that turned England from $9 odds to $1.20.

I think Colly benefitted massively from the enforced rest he got when sick 3 games ago. I think looking at the side, if you stick KP at number 4 for Strauss, and on the off chance that Vaughan is fit go with him for Loye, it looks a fairly decent side, especially with Jimmy for Saj. None too shabby, hopefully we are finding some form at exactly the right time with the world cup a month away.

Just as Gilly looks to hit some form he loses it again. Ricky Ponting will be livid with his troops, he wouldve been so dark in the dressing rooms.
