Yup I know its really mess up here specially in upper Punjab and NWFP but still cricekt is possible there in Sindh and lower Punjab.
Major fact is that we have to provide good security and with our foreign delegation we must try reopen the gates of cricket in Pakistan.
How much guarantee a person can give that such incidence will not happen in India,Srilanka,England etc etc?
We all see International delegation from the round the world are coming to Pakistan and they are provided fool proof security then why not to provide such security to these teams.

Do you think players around the world are stupid that they are willing to go to other countries like India, SL (where terrorist activities have happened) to play cricket whereas they are not willing to come to Pakistan? In Pakistan, cricketers have been attacked inspite of the government providing assurance to them of security. India or SL have never had this problem. It would have been better for Pakistan had the terrorist activities stopped after that 'Lahore SL cricketers' attack. But it has not, which will definitely hamper progresss towards restoration of intl cricket in Pakistan. Players wont come. That attack has dealt with a huge blow in the players minds (not just SL players, but players around the world). That scar will take quite a long time to heal.

You cannot guarantee anything but in Pakistan the chances of a Terrorist attack is far more likely than say Englnad or India. Both Have had terrorist attacks but they were isolated incidences but Pakistan is still a haven for terrorists from Afghanistan. Players don't want to play cricket in a country were the safety is only assuared if they travel in armoured busses with tanks behind then.

You don't go to the most dangerous part of town because even though you could get attacked in the best part of town, it's more likely that you will be attacked in the worst part of town. The chances are they you will have a safe trip to 8 of the test playing countries but Pakistan is far more of a risk and as someone said, it's just a game and these players don't want to risk their lives for it.

sucks that the West Indies only get 3 home tests next year. The series against Zimbabwe should be used to try out some young talent in the Caribbean, would love to see Brathwaite against Zimbabwe.

Was looking forward to the India vs South Africa series, but now......

Its back on at the moment with the BCCI requesting CSA to slot in a couple of tests. Not a full series as we`d have liked but something nevertheless.

Really excited to see Pak playing so much cricket this coming year...a full summer of cricket in England! 6 test matches and 8 odi's, that's awesome.
