Conspiracy 365 Mafia - End Game - Town Win

How many of us actually even boast 10% knowledge on this 365 series?

I know exactly who my character is.

Tom probably signed up drunk and doesn't realise he's playing.

Or the exact reverse. He signed up sober but is now drunk and doesn't realise he's playing.

How many of us actually even boast 10% knowledge on this 365 series? Plus the mafias have been provided with fake claims as well (from what the rules suggest). So I don't really see any point in 'pressurizing' someone, before he character claims (if he's town), or fake-claims (if he's mafia) - leaving us no choice but to believing him. We are gonna have to be incredibly good in order to inflict a successful lynch. Which is why I feel a 'no lynch' is just about the way to go in this game's case.

It's not necessarily about the claim itself. When you pressure someone, you get to see how they and other people react, and then it's more likely for someone to slip up. No lynching straight away is the easy way out and we don't get any information from it.

But how can we pressure anyone when no one is willing to be the one putting that pressure on them? As it is with either people unwilling to out themselves as having dirt on anyone or their results were clean last night we aren't going to get anywhere. If I were to lynch you and merely state pressure lynch how is that going to make you act in any way different. As it is everybody has just laughed off these tentative random lynches as doing anything other brings suspicion.

Gawd I hate day ones.

It's looking for posts that are over-defensive or trying to switch the focus to someone else. That was why I flagged P Squared's post as I thought he was reacting a bit strongly to a fairly random FOS.

Yeah but you wouldn't just pressure lynch some randomly. There will be posts that you see and think are a bit weird so you'd follow up on that and pressure that person.

Going back to this post again, I find it really scummy tbh. The majority of it states the obvious and then Haari tries to push for a no lynch. Basically a filler post.

Lynch: Haarithan

I said I think. Tom probably signed up drunk and doesn't realise he's playing.

Haha..........not funny :( I've been in work since half 8 with a hangover and I'm about to start drinking again in an hour..... No point, in analysing the write-up again as Jack (I think) pointed out everyone is just repeating everyone, maybe it might be a good idea to look at who was just mirroring what others have said, maybe a good tactic for mafia to slide by un-noticed?

Also due to the non-lethal night roles, someone might have found out one way or the other if someone is anti-town so it might be worth someone going back and looking through any slightly agressive posts and maybe question motives a bit deeper? I would do it myself but am juggling shaving, cooking dinner and getting ready for tonight.

If I post drunk, apologies in advance (unless I abuse Colin or that poof Ben)

I'm sorry, but that post of mine was nowhere near to being a 'filler'. Thing is, probability that we'll end up lynching a townie on Day 1 is approximately 3.5 times higher to that of a mafia. Which is when character claims generally come in handy. But not in this case, for we all have little knowledge on the characters present in this game - so little that we cannot even differentiate between the good and the bad, specially when the latter's provided with fake claims.

Lynch: Themer

Contributing nothing to the discussion, fingering me for no reason.

I've explained that it's not about the claim itself. It's about seeing how people react. It was filler. All you did was state what was already known and then say that we should not lynch anyone.

Had a little read about the plot of this book it's all based on. Have to say I got bored halfway through the summary and so really I know nothing about it.

Lynch: Tom

Shaving and cooking at the same time? Bad combination that.
