Conspiracy 365 Mafia - End Game - Town Win

I've always wanted to run a game with a mafia DV...

*Mental note: The DV in Colins next mafia game is definitely mafia*

Useless discussion so far.

I am actually in favour of no lynch today. We have got in depth night info in this game, so surely we can rely on the power roles to get us through this game.

I know its Day 1, but I'd prefer less banter and more gameplay here. Mafia are likely to use banter as a reason to start a lynch on someone and then later point out it was basically just a guess and get away with.

Even though I am hoping we end up with a no lynch, lets discuss other possible things. I am intrigued at Aditya starting a random lynch against Smurf. Possibly a joke but Aditya iirc did it in the last game my fosing/lynching a fellow mafia at the start of the game to use it as a backup point in the future. (Can anyone care to confirm?)

Yeah tbf I found that pretty sus as well, I don't see why'd he'd randomly lynch Smurf, defo seems like a tactic..

Well, by the usual standards of Day 1, there has been satisfactory discussion. I don't see any problem with Haarithan's claim, and a mafia DV is improbable, although his gameplay from now will confirm or refute it.

I see RPHKR hasn't posted despite being online, so just to make him post.

Yeah, he did it in Wild West mafia. (lynched Colin who was mafia as well))

Now that I've thought over it, it seems too random a lynch, unlike most others, which were somewhat predictable. Aditya's wasn't.

But again, cannot be sure. Maybe I'm over-analyzing.

Good morning folks, was initially unconscious on my bed when the clock read 7:30 AM IST, but when I eventually woke up 30 mins later, it was 2:00 PM IST!

Anyway, I think we've got our next prime suspect then? Like I said, he's been far too aggressive/desperate to process my lynch - finding my claim odd? finding it incredibly scummy that I was in favor of a no lynch?!

Wow, a lot's happened since I was last on. Not too sure what to draw from all this atm. But I don't see how Haari being the DV makes him town. If I remember correctly, there was one game where the individual/cult-leader was DV. However:

In a game of 20, we can afford a Day 1 lynch. If you go for someone who's inactive and not helpful, then the loss won't be much if they're Town. And if it's a huge up-shot if they turn out to be mafia. The risk is worth the reward.

And not sure why people are suspicious of Aditya lynching me. Obviously, it was a joke. No one is going to take those early lynches seriously, and no one would go back to them in order to defend oneself down the road. As to why he chose me out of the blue, I think it might have something to do with how I was constantly gunning for him (as a mafia) in the last game we played together.

Varun, just curious, why at the first place did you find my post suspicious? You have played quite a few games with me and you do know that I start a game with a few fun posts. You haven't been suspicious of me in the earlier games, so why in this game?

Point fingers at Smurf, correct me if I am wrong but I havent seen you two joking around in the forum. Usually most random lynches on day 1, are based on two people who have either got a score to settle from the last game lynch each other or like Colin/Tom or something.

From what I understood that was a joke considering Maney totally screwed the town by being the double voter in a game or so ago. Was fooling around as I see it.

Is that a good enough reason to be suspicious of someone? So, you point is, I should not joke around with members with whom I don't joke around in the rest part of the forum? Seriously guys, I understand that day 1 doesn't have much useful discussion but at least have some valid reasons. You say "most" random lynched are by those members who have some kind of a score to settle, agreed but that doesn't mean that you cannot lynch a member just for fun on day 1. I did that, just to see how Smurf replies, that's it. I've done that in previous games as well, I haven't been questioned a single time.
