My guess is that Ryan Spencer is likely to be among the main 10 characters of the book. Also he's got a good record to be classified a townie, which is why I feel that having him as a 'fake character claim' for the mafias would be insanely odd.

Will just have to wait and see if anyone counter-claims. I won't be lynching Adi atleast until then.

I can believe miller but I don't like the way it was claimed straight after Calum identified him as mafia-aligned.
It is the kind of role that would be in the game and no CC yet. That said I feel Aditya may be being clever by not really offering a defence.

I'd let you know one thing Colin, I wont use cheap tactics to survive in a game. My defense might get me lynched but I'd never "intentionally" be inactive and not provide a defense, I find it disgusting to use such tactics. The other thing is, while CG posted his post, I was already working on my defense and it has to do nothing with CG's fisherman claim.

Everything has been mafia-like about Aditya this game barring his CC. What if his fake claim is a miller? If you say Spencer is a character that should be in the game is it possible he could be one of the fake claims given to the mafia?

I think we should technically wait for everyone to post and if someone counterclaims, game over for Aditya? But whats the backup plan? tbh I wouldnt mind losing a miller because he could potentially be the mafia.

Should have waited longer Callum, that would have possibly cleared out the case on Aditya

@Aditya - why wouldn't you use "cheap tactics"? It's a game and the aim is to win. Creating uncertainty is just a gambit to stay alive. I'm not saying you're mafia but I am saying that I don't believe you wouldn't do what it takes to stay alive if you were.

I wont. I don't like the game holding just because pf me. I'd never intentionally not post and be safe, that is when I'm asked to post something in my defense. I agree winning is everything in a mafia game but I like to play fair.

My thoughts are basically this. It's a huge coincidence as well but unless there's a cc I'm inclined to believe him. He's still my top suspect though

Looking at the post times though, Aditya's post is just 4 minutes after Callum claimed.
I'm not sure he can think of a defense and write so much in just 4 minutes.

Finally, we can crack on with the day, although it's made things a little confusing.

As has been said, after Callum's post there was only ever going to be one claim available, but the timing of it (straight after) makes me incredibly suspicious. It made it seem as if he was waiting for Callum to reveal what he had found. I'm not so sure it was a coincidence that his internet suddenly began working straight after that post.

At the same time, it is a very believable claim. I don't like the excuse of 'I know nothing about the theme therefore I can't make stuff up'. That's rubbish. It's not hard to search about it and if you're mafia then you have a couple of other heads that can help you out.

I am not lynching just yet. Will certainly give those who haven't posted yet a chance to counter claim.

Abhas puts it spot on. I've got not much to say in my defense, I've already said whatever I had to in my defense. The choice is your guys.

I agree, a miller with a post restriction is highly unlikely. Would be a tough role to get, that's for sure.
