well it all depends on the type of games you play.If you are into shooters,fighting/wrestling games and adventure games go for a gamepad.For games such as quake and unreal i would prefer the standard keyboard,mouse combo{you can improve your experience by getting a usb keyboard and an optical mouse}.

If you are into flight sims go for a joystick.

If you prefer racing and driving games you should get a steering wheel.Don't forget force feedback though.It really adds to your gaming experience.

Many New devices such as a special mouse called the claw have been introduced.This is specifically for first person
shooters.
Ultra Reality glasses are also great fun.

As you can see there are a sheer number of gaming devices,each for its own particular purpose.There is no "one size fits all" thing in gaming devices.

man...your registration has become corrupt!!!.This happened to a guy called "lobby" some time ago as well.You must inform the board admin for what to do and ask if he had made any backups of member lists from where he could restore your registration without affecting the posts on the forum.
