Controller problem

hi guys, i just got cricket 2005 and after wading through pages and pages via the search function, i understand that i have to use joytokey to use my ps2 pad...anyway, i got that up and running and have a config, but when i load the game and come to select a side, the joypad icon automatically goes to the right, and i cant change it, its as if someone is selecting it and holding it down to the right.....can anyone help?

This happened to me b4. I think it is to do with the fact that the controller pad is permanently jammed to one side (maybe stored poorly)...sorry but thats all the help I can give

thanks for your reply, but i use this pad for all my pc games with no probs at all

Try removing the joypad and plugging it in again.Cant think of anything else.
