Controller Problem

Hi! I have a problem with my game controller. It is a Microsoft Sidewinder Game Pad USB. It works with all my other games but not in Cricker 2004. I have recalibrated the controller, remapped the buttons and reinstalled the game but still doesn't work. Please help! I really want to play this game.
