There is usually an option to disable the vibration in the control panel.

Sorry, there is no option to disable vibration in the 'Game Controllers' folder. Does anybody have any other suggestions? I have a free day tommorow and I don't have to leave the house so I can completely reinstall it from scratch. Do you agree?

There is an option to disable vibrate in the Cricket2004 options menu.

SOLVED!

Something amazing happened overnight- the controller stops vibrating. Every single problem I told you about has been solved. Thanks andrew_nixon and barmyarmy, now to try it with Cricket 2004. You both have more rep.

When I played Cricket 2004 with this controller the moment the bat hits the ball the vibration started again. Fortunately, although turning vibration off doesn't work, if I press Ctrl Alt Delete the controller is tricked into thinking that the game has stopped when I'm still playing.
