Paul Collingwood

The steady headed reliable batting of Paul Collingwood.
The reliable part time bowling of Paul Collingwood.
The Fielding of Paul Collingwood, the best in the world ;)

Come on - its my duty to do this - it was gonna happen ;)

Merry Christmas

I'm sure New Zealand fans will be hoping for Rachin Tendulkar ;).

I think this exercise is better served with picking 2 guys for a bowler and 2 guys for a batsman. Its a bit more challenging than just making an awesome all rounder.

Shane Bond :p (Shane Watson's current fitness and batting skill with Shane Bond's bowling prowess)

Phillip Ponting (Hughes with his youth and awesome potential with Ponting's short ball technique, and all the rest that I won't bother mentioning)

Jimmy Johnson/Mitchell Anderson > Tim Johnson tbh.

Anderson's in my view the best swing bowler in the world and with Johnson's pace, bounce and wicket-taking ability he'd be a god.

Jacques Flintoff

Kallis' batting and consistency mixed with Fred's pace, reverse swing and general brilliantness.

Ravi Vettori

Ravi Bopara's raw talent and ability with Daniel Vettori's mental strength, detirmination to succeed and the bowling ability would be handy as well.

Kevin Smith
Kevin Pieterson's talent and shot making ability and Graeme Smiths Guts and will.

Shane Ntini - Shane Bonds pure talent and pace and Ntinis rarely injured body.

Pommy Martin - Pommy Mbangwa and Chris Martin, hopefully together they wouldn't get a duck every game.

Yuvraj Hussey (the raw talent of yuvi with compact technique of hussey) devastating finisher :hpraise

Bowler: Injuryfree Bond (I know this doesn't count hehe)

no, that's good actually. just pick gilchrist who never missed a test match his whole career.

Shane Gayle - all round talents of watson, but not a complete dick, actually quite cool.

Ricky Bradman - ricky ponting, but dead.

StinkyBoHoon added 3 Minutes and 53 Seconds later...

Fidel Kulasekara - brilliantly controlled inswingers but with a bit of pace behind them.

Sanath Barath - well I just thought it sounded good. but maybe sanath, but 20 years younger. I don't want him to retire :(
