sceenshots look great

hopefully they ad new international teams like holland, canada and namibia aswell as the domestic teams

its sounds good that every bowler can swing the bowl but i wonder if weather conditions effect the bowl
eg the bowl swings more on an overcast day and at night

and its good they fixed the yorker issue i thoght it was to easy in c2002 to get the computer out in one dayers all i did was bowl yorkers and it would bowl them almost every time hopefully its hard to bowl yorkers

Player editor looks good but yet again the attributes for a batsman or a bowler looks to be defensive, moderate and aggressive which sucks

I managed to get a reply from Andrew to a mail I had sent him very recently. I had told him that the editor options didn't look too detailed in the screens we had seen to which he replied that the player editor is actually made up of about 10 screens and the screen was only of basic attributes and that from there, you branch out into specific stats.

And this is what he said when I asked him when the demo would be released after about the 5th time I had repeated it in the mail :D

I am working on that right now?demos are a difficult thing to time. In a perfect world the demo would be out already, however, it would not look as polished as the game will end up looking. In the past, I think that we have released demos a little early and it has been a bit of a disservice to the game. It is a balance thing?and one that we hope to get right.

I say he should be a politician. He did everything but answer the question :P

I did manage to get a few useful bits of info from him though :)

There will be a reverse sweep shot

Dec 11th is confirmed as the release date for the southern hemisphere

There will be a team ranking system and it will vary according to the way teams play in season mode

There will be separate ODI and Test teams

AI change the field settings according to the shots played and situation of the match (frankly I highly doubt how effective this is going to be)

I've also uploaded the latest screens to the site just in case they're taken down later

First off, thanks Vineet for clearing a few issues  . Will it be possible to ask Andrew if the bowling changes will be affected as required or does the opening bowler bowl his quota of 10 overs in one go in a ODI as in Cricket2002? Cheers Vineet. This is one AI issue I am frustrated with, McGrath bowls unchanged for 10 overs on the trot even if he gifts over 6 R/O in his first 5 overs without having snared a wicket :sorry: . I desperately am seeking better management of bowlers by the CPU and also fatigue attribute to come into play. Likes of Chris Cairns, Shoaib Akthar, Gough and others who are to be wrapped in wool between matches bowling 30-40 overs unchanged as in Cricket 2002, is a shame to a realistic pc cricket game  .

the screen was only of basic attributes and that from there, you branch out into specific stats.

I jumped the gun just a tad early I suppose :OOO: , atleast its confirmed there are other vital attributes than just what we see from the basic screenshot. Thanks anyways for clearing this up Vineet  .

I am with Andrew on this. It is fair to say the demo realistically is a very small part of an entire game and the review of such demo cannot suggest the worth of the game. For instance Rugby 2004 demo was absolute crap but the game certainly is far off from the demo(Is it a good buy? I cannot comment here).

There will be separate ODI and Test teams

I am happy to know this  .

I am fine with the release date given I live in NZ although I cannot really understand why there is parity in release dates? The other EA games are released world wide at the same time; I simply cannot comprehend any reason for the delay in European and Asian market  s.

guys...dont get to hyped up...remeber vineets review...vineet u tell them(on your site)

plzz vineet keep us informed
whenever ea`s new site comes up
plzz tell us
dint u ask andrew when the site is gonna come up and some movies
etc
plzz post everything uver got

Are these screenshots still in alpha mode?

I hope so. :P

I will try

Its difficult getting him to answer specific questions with specific answers :D plus he tells me he is really busy with licensing/promoting the game in the UK now.

The other EA games are released world wide at the same time; I simply cannot comprehend any reason for the delay in European and Asian markets.

The plausible reason for the UK is that they are trying to make it coincide with the start of the English season.

dint u ask andrew when the site is gonna come up and some movies
etc

In his words : soon

plzz post everything uver got

I do that already

Its best not to bother him too much now. I think we have got all the info we need.

it also looks like 18+ different types of bats, and the player editor looks very good

it will be good to have that many bats.

because if we can edit them we could have a MRF for Tendulkar, Kahuna for Ponting, Gray Nicholls for Hayden

haye vineet or andrew can u tell me plz whos the real screen shots of cricket 2004..........
