Cricket 2004 not working on windows 8.1

whenever I try to run cricket 2004 its shows me error "access Denied" and say "Please login with administrator privileges and try again" and if I try to run as administrator then nothing happens.
I also have a laptop also tried it on it but same result.
did somebody have solution for this?

Try compatibility mode by selecting old windows like win xp
