Cricket 2005 Reboots my PC

Hi guys

i just went and got EA cricet 2005 and have installed it but when ever i go to run it, it reboots my system, i have tryded uninstalling it and reinstalling it and the same thing happens

any one know what is going on? i have never had this problem before

im running windows xp with SP2
AMD 2400XP
1gig DDR ram
Radion 9000

so i have the system specks but am lost as in what is going on with it

yer all drivers have been updated

im lost with it as it plays rugby 2005 fine and with so much as a problem.

i tryed to reinstall directx but same thing. nothing i do seems to work.

same with me... i got geforce 5200fx card...my pc also reboot while playing cricet 2005...befire restarting its gave a blue screen error & then reboots the pc..i also have updated my drivers...still no luck

it happened 4 times to me. 3 in the first hour of me playing it. that was sunday. last time it happened was yesterday. the frequency has decreased. i updated my video card so maybe that was the difference.

2.8ghz pentium 4
768mb ram
128mb nvidia geforce fx5200

I've had this happen before with ea games, the problem is caused by the game being to resource greedy. You need to go to start click on run and type msconfig, next uncheck everything that the machine doesn't need including firewalls and virus scanners. when the machine has been restarted the game should run fine.

select disable virtual themes

i have dont that but now its loading up, not rebootings my system but then its closing its self.

i have tryed shutting down all tass that are not needed and it just reboos the system.....

ok guys i just nuked xp and did a new install
so i installed 2005 and the same thing happens
all my drivers are all ok and are ood to go but she still reboots the system

and yes i paid for the game. thier is nothign dodgy about it

im about to turn around and dump it in the trash soon and that will be a waist, as what is the point of havign a gam e and the dam n thing all ways rebooting the PC with out seeing any of the game?
