It's all about competition. A different company puts out a better game, people buy it and won't need to bother with bug-filled crap like the unpatched Cricket2004. It's the only way EA will learn.

Well according to me Codemasters Brian Lara's gameplay although not like EA Sports, but Graphics are very attractive. I see many people, who are sticking to Brian Lara Cricket 99 rather than shifting to EA's cricket though EA Sports Cricket has more advance feature and updated teams, still they prefer BLC 99 because they feel good in playing with it due to its superb Graphics designing. If someone ask me to suggest few points for new BLC, then I would suggest them 1)Stick to their Graphics design which were in BLC 99, dont touchit 2) Improve Gameplay more, like user will get choice to select backward shot or forword shot, Wides and No balls(new Rules) 3) Include D/L System if rains 4)Include Advance Shots. Thats solve

They shouldnt stick to their old Graphics, thats not very smart. If they want to sell games, they need attractive graphics which will make people want to buy their game. Any game which was released today with 1998/99 graphics would be a flop. If you have a look at the top games these days (ie. GTA, Doom 3) they all have good graphics.

Well Squiz, same thing EA sports tried to do in Cricket 2004, they tried to improve their graphic performance, but the conclusion, it become worse than in Cricket 2002. Cricket 2002's Graphics are far better than Cricket 2004. You and other can diifer from my view. But thats what I think. Thats Solve

Cricket 2004's graphics are shit, Cricket 2002's are even worse- and the only people who would buy a new cricket game with 1999 style graphics are the ones who have crap PC's and therefore have no choice

Koool down Brad. Relax. Well I dont have Crap Pc buudy. My processor is P IV 2.6 Ghz with Intel 865 Motherboard, 256 MB DDR Ram, Nvidia 128MB Display, Creative 7.1 Digital Analogue Dual channel sound Card and Creative 7.1 Digital analouge speaker, but still I love BLC. Thats Solve.

Your discussion should be positive.If one company like Ea was unable to improve their garphic engine then it does not mean that other will also not.Ea cricket developing team is still in learning phase as they made some experiment and hope that next time they will deliver better performance.

As far as Codemasters are concerned,I hope they can spend more money on this game and produce better game as their Brian Lara was big hit.In snooker 2003 their graphics are excellent.

i think brian lara cricket 200? whenever it releases would be much more better tyhan any ea cricket game.i would play BLC 99 if there was achoice between Brial ara and cricket 2002.It was codemasters who had the idea of introducing tournaments into the game ike the test calendar.hope that this one excellent

I know cricket 2004 is a game full of bugs and all that. But arent you guys going to far? It's not THAT bad game, when I couldn't find my cd I was crying for one week......crying sometime now also :P But I know there are lot of bugs and not bad graphics but still, its a good cricket game...? Just be happy with what you got..and wait for Brian Lara Cricket 2005 or whats it called, btw I saw some screens of Brian Lara, the graphic seems to be preyy good!!

i have got additional information abt the upcoming BLC Cricket :
1. It will have more improved graphics and functions
2. There will be front foot and back foot shot selection similar in easports game and also it will feature about 10 shots with all different directions.
3. Most importantly there will be injuries during gameplay they will occur randomly as the ball may hit batsman naked body causing him to have a runner or even make him sit out in dressing room for some time. this is first time in any cricket game its very very realistic.
4. also Sustitutions for fielders will be offered.
5. There will also be some presentation ceremony after the game ends
6. Option to create ur own team and players with different locality and are now available also u can make ur own team and play and win tornaments to gain special bonus points for players and increase the quality level of ur players similar in fifa games.
6. also There will seam control option for human players while bowling with fast bowlers and fast bowlers can swing the ball now.
7. No Crazy CPU runouts anymore
8. The fielding speed and frame rate is also expected to increase.
