So @Rumple43 @Mohammed Sherry idea of the sliders was to produce a hard Australian deck that you would want to win the toss on and bat first. In my head I was just thinking of Australia piling the runs on against England at the Gabba. I also wanted reealistic run rates, variation in shots from the AI, but with the right bounce reducing the silly front foot pull scoopy thing.

I also wanted to open up deliveries that the AI could get me out LBW and bowled rather than really full balls...

I ticked that all off in this match so far, I lost the toss and its been two days in the dirt for me. Plenty and plenty of plays and misses, umpires calls, I dropped Green on 60 with a diving catch in the slips and got a variet of wickets.

I then lost a wicket in the last 10 overs of the day as the AI declared to give me a tricky little period.

I drove a good length ball from Starc and its just done a tiny bit back in to me, timing wasnt quite perfect and its beaten my inside edge and sent my off stump flying. I was never really bowled out on 19!

They were 400-4 and I was about to sack it off and have a lie down. He had two appeals turned for LBW and on review was hitting outside the line umpires decision.

Then he got Wade inside edging a sweep.
Inglis then got a normal bat pad first ball.

Cummins then survived a ball before getting an inside edge on a drive popping up to burns again.

I had stemmed the tide.. only for it to go Tits up again.

Root was an useful as a chocolate tea pot on day one and early day 2… started a get a few plays and misses and edges end of day 2.

Hi guys

I’m doing a career as Leeds but the other teams in my group are from Lincolnshire, Northumberland and Lancashire. I know that in previous games sometimes your team would be in a group from a different county (ie: wrong) but normally I’d expect York and Sheffield etc (Other Yorkshire cities) to be grouped with me.

These teams all seem to be a bit of a random north of England selection (Carlisle, Scunthorpe and St Helen’s etc). Is it like this for everybody or has something gone wrong?

I think this is another bug. If you have a match rained off it seems any other match you start it will just instantly rain it off until you exit game....of course I don't know the full extent of the bug or what the criteria is for it to start happening (match types, if you have a saved game rained off etc)

PS4 (1.08) : If you facing difficulty with lofted drive or offside shot, even with pressing L2 and you getting grounded shot instead of Ariel, than change your batting camera setup... Because there is bug in fixed far and close camera... In all other camera, you can play L2 / lofted offside shots...
And OMG, it is really pain to see fielder running speed after latest patch...

Wow good to know. I bat with close camera. Is it reported to BA or I am happy to do so. Such a pain

That's par for the course with the clubs as they're really just a very generic representation & cross section. Cricket 19 is the same too. (Most often don't spend long at club level to bother about it.) I often found in C 19 that I was promoted or selected for captaincy considerably earlier by upping the selection difficulty to hardest & still performing well rather than lowering the selection difficulty which then still took longer. Obviously many are yet to discover if that's a factor with C 22 as well or if the new narrative ir training features are more if an influence .

Hopefully you'll be with your chosen domestic team soon .

What does everyone think about bowling controls on PS4, I like cricket 19 controls better it's easier to get most balls in the right area.
Batting I find is strange I was doing well until I updated new version, I seem to play and miss alot, when I want to hit the ball in that area it won't do it. Less power for shots now and lofted shots are top edges.
I think batting and bowling will get better with patches.
What does everyone think about the batting and what can be improved.

This actually improves the game.

I would prefer play and miss rather then getting an edge every time I miss time the ball.

Same with bowling, it's better that we can't keep bowling the same balls again and again, it makes it even more real.

Big ant should do a big patches on different area's of the game like batting, bowling, fielding/catching, player models/likeness, pitch effect's/weather.
Batting
I can't play every shot in the game, it should be 360 degree game, also should show everyone how to play every shot in the game.
Unorthodox shots reverse sweep, paddle, upper cut/ ramp, switch hit,slog sweep,scoop/Wade flick.
Timing should be fixed,power shots.
Bowling
I think they should bring back controls from cricket 19 as an option and everyone can choose what controls they would like to play.
Ball swings too much and goes for byes.
Fielding/catching
More diving catches, fielders should be different speeds not all the same.
Wicketkeeper should be improved more animations,
Player models
Need different heights, weights and muscle tone.
Accessories like wrist band,head band,towel,thigh guard,rib guard and more arm guards.
Equipment different pads, gloves, helmets
Db14 had good player models.
Pitch effect's
Pitch turns different colours in different countries, cracks/rough more visual on day 4/5.
Weather when overcast it should be lot darker.
Stadium creator and other bugs fixed too.
