Rapid patching is not going to stop.. Unlike my support and patience. Already we are doing them a favour by being beta testers for a fully released game paying 4k inr. Filing bugs the way they want it. I've been supporting big ant to a great extent even engaging in twitter wars asking people to be little more patient.
But if big ant can't QA the patches and keep breaking the game again and again then, I don't think they deserve this support.
When you mess up accept it atleast. Patching is good but everytime breaking the game even more is non sensical.

Yes, the game is a mess. Patching is making the game even messier. There will be a time soon when they pull the plug for patches and say "We fixed everything". This is not how it should have been. It shows how much they have tested the game for each and every patch thats been out.
You have to realize “we” to him means nothing. Who is we? You and a few guys on the forum?
He will have targets, priorities, things that have to be ticked off.
He knows it’s a mess up. They admitted that with the steam post. He will have pressures from all angles.
The buck stops with him and it’s not gone remotely to plan.
But I can understand why he gets irritable on social media, in all fairness I’m surprised he even responds at all.
But there will be people who think the game is improving with these patches and others who thinks it’s not.
So as much as your trying to support, with all due respect he’s not going to take the advice of one random dude on Twitter.
Issue is people get upset over different things. I’m actually enjoying the game at the moment and I’m always hyper critical. I know many others that are enjoying it. Have fielders gone into slo motion at times.. yes.. do I look past it.. yes… will it be addressed yes… will it break something else… probably yes…

Tried bowling with the newest patches yesterday after having a good final bowl the last time I played and it SUCKKKKKEDDDD. Felt like the AI just did what they wanted when they wanted no matter what type of ball you bowled. run rates, despite having the slider at 20, were at 5s for most of the first two sessions and run outs galore again. Fielders not picking up balls, allowing things to scoot straight past them, teleporting still. These last patches have definitely felt two steps backwards.
I don’t get this. I don’t have it or experience it. I bowled 170 overs at 3 an over with no poor play.

Exactly the same thing happened with me today.
The AI kept smacking every now and then maintain the runrate at 4.5 rpo.
Runrate slider same as yours at 20.
What field do you typical use mate?

Simple issue i have in a test match with al on legend it bowls from the same side of the wicket whether player is right handed or left handed with the same field so many easy runs on leg side with no change in bowling or fielding.This has actually been an issue give or take with every cricket game big ant have made.

Alternate where ma slips are. Usually mid on/off, cover, midwicket, square-leg (or backwards) and fine leg
Is this in career or normal competition play now stuff?

I think I fully agree with @WealeyH! I am enjoying playing one-off test matches, and somehow advanced shots started working too for me again. And this is when I can't play career mode because I can't access the academy without crashing the game. So, trying to make do with what's working.
