Strange that we are not saying rapid patching from BAS , may be they are waiting for Xbox patch?

Have the game now and wow is this game ever a mix of variable levels of good improvements, some terrible blunderous backwards steps and a large slice of the status quo from C'22!

Am building a list of issues which I'd like to class as serious, mid-range and mild and then put them out in one place on here and submit to Big Ant.

One that struck me in all of my games so far is that with "out of the box" settings, is anyone else finding Shot Force to be well overpowered?

I'm trying to analyse bugs on default settings, but Shot Force on 50 seems a joke to me. I made it my only adjustment so far and dropped it to 40, but no it's still a case of any ball that beats the infield becomes an instant four. I'm thinking of dropping it to 30 next.

Anyone else noticing that issue?

Yeh shot force for user well over powered every shot a boundary where AI seem to play normally also think AI play a bit smarter batting finding lots of gaps might just be me looking for more positives

How you do that mate ? You mean for each player individually ?

I think we’ll see fewer than 5 patches for this. They’ve more or less copied over c22 with minor tweaks specifically to avoid the need for a lot of post release effort.

It’s possible there was a different game that got pulled after the AFL23 fiasco and the last months were used to change c22 just enough.

On the plus side, I’ve taken 8 wickets (out of 16) and only 1 has been a short leg catch. 1 was even a silly point catch off the glove.

• Absolutely it does, but ideally we'd want Big Ant to do rebalancing from default values.

1. The teams you downloaded from 22 - Were they recent ones that you had uploaded in 22 or fairly older? As the more recent ones don't seem to feature at all in the 24 Academy.

2. Would be interested to try the workaround, if you could explain the transfer of logos etc.

The stuff transferred from 22 seems to be from a fixed date, possibly quite a few month ago, based on it not pulling across things I had done recently.

Bat workaround
1. Download the bat you want
2. Download a bat colour, search ‘willow or bat’ in logos (not an essential step but recommended)
3. Go to bat manager and choose the bat (you’ll need to edit it)
4. Change the bat model to 4
5. Add the bat colours to the first 2 layers. 1 isn’t big enough so you’ll need two.
6. You’ll need to slightly tweak the logos on the bat, as they will have moved around due to the new bat model

I’ve tried this with all other models and it doesn’t work, so number 4 is your way to go. The bat looks older (no bow) but in game you don’t notice it, for example:

I’ve never been satisfied with any of the default ratings from BA for their officially licensed players. Due to the ratings not making a significant enough difference there’s never been much of a cry about it.

I believe that as well. Cause their announcement notes gave away a totally different game vibe vs what we got. They aren't supposed to be this crooked. Something must have happened since AFL blunder and they chose the safer path to go.
