Difference between criticism and utter crap...
I think everyone was very expressive in letting know they were frustrated. Not sure it was crap. We still have a list of issues that is there since Ashes Cricket. It was about time. Everyone is entitled including you to express what they felt. Someone did it mildly while some did it loudly, but none was crap atleast in my view. Kudos to everyone in this forum for being passionate.

Playing as Canada associate career (mostly simming it though currently in 2036) and my team has got a legendary SLA spin bowler by the name of London and he can spin it huge both ways and AI seems unable to play it at all , average 14 with the ball in T20is with 250 something wickets in around 130 something games , that is almost 2 wicket per game in a T20Is and I can see the reason why as he keep creating chance atleast twice in an over and only few AI batters can actually play him , Played the games against Nepal , AFG and Italy and only AFG one batter was actually middling him otherwise all were unable to read his spin at all. New Rashid Khan of associate Nations? Because my team has another 2 spinners as well which are just average and AI can easily play them.

It would be great if you guys can bring back AI vs AI games in career mode as I am currently forced to play the games to actually see the quality of players in my team , previously i was just sit back and relax and watch the game and take notes like a real coach in C22 and C19.

It would also be great if you can actually see the stats of your team mates in MY TEAMS tab instead of going in match and hoping that stats ticker will pop up , I don't know how hard it is to implement to have the career stats tab available for atleast your league players in career mode if not all the league players , it was there in C19 disc version which later got patched out for unknown reason and never make it back in C19 or even in C22.

Really hoping that career mode will get some love in future patches specially the selection logic and players development and career stats tabs for all players and possibly players ranking as well.

Currently more than 70% of the regen players are allrounders and 30% being specialists batters or bowlers or keepers which is a highly unrealistic distribution , Allrounders are rare breed in cricket and they should occur with 10% chance only with 90% being specialists batters or bowlers or keepers. Same applies to genuine FAST bowler as they are even more rare commodity in world cricket and I think regen player being a level 4 or 5 pace bowler should be only 2% so as to attach value to being an out and out FAST bowler.
So a regen players likelihood % should be.

Opening Batter 15%
Middle Order Batter 17%
Lower Order batter 12%
Keeper Batter 10%
Batting Allrounder (Medium Pace) 1%
Batting Allrounder (Wrist Spin) 1%
Batting Allrounder (Finger Spin 1%
Batting Allrounder (Fast Medium) 1%
Batting Allrounder (Fast) 0%
Bowling Allrounder (Medium Pace) 1.5%
Bowling Allrounder (Wrist Spin) 1%
Bowling Allrounder (Finger Spin 1%
Bowling Allrounder (Fast Medium) 1%
Bowling Allrounder (Fast) 0.5%
Genuine Allrounder (Medium Pace) 0.25%
Genuine Allrounder (Wrist Spin) 0.50%
Genuine Allrounder (Finger Spin) 0.50%
Genuine Allrounder (Fast Medium) 0.50%
Genuine Allrounder (Fast) 0.25%
Finger Spinner 9%
Wrist Spinner 7 %
Medium Pacer 10%
Fast Medium Pacer 7%
Fast Bowler 2%

Total % adds up to 100%

Was there any opportunity to become a test nation, and things like qualification to ODI WC and T20 WC

Select the "Standings" tile in the teams tab.

From there, you can view your current competition's stats - so tab over to Batting/Bowling stats and you can click the right stick (R3) to view the career statistics of that player, or press the View/Touch Pad button (aka Select) for "select competition" and then select the nation associated with the competition you want to view, and for any of the competitions that are completed or in progress you'll be able to see the details stats and then in turn the individual player stats for players in those competitions.

OMG it's already there??? it was the half of my dream for career mode , Thanks mate will try it , you mean going to batting and bowling stats and pressing R3 will show the career stats of that individual player or all players? I remember doing something like that but it was resulting in a crash previously.

Now just sort the players development and selection in career mode and introduce players ranking for ODI , TEST and T20 (only if possible) and allow AI vs AI games to happen in career mode (Real must for me) and my money is totally worth spend for C24 , No complaints here from now on.

A tiny one more request would be to have separate wkt/chances slider for spin and pace bowling in order to balance things out to our liking.

Really loving the T20 sim stats generation , feels very realistic , good bowlers with high skills and attributes having so much wickets with very low averages and econ rate and poor bowlers having high bowling averages and high econ rate which is exactly how it should be.

It would be great if players strength and weaknesses in match view really use wasteyouryouth idea which he posted few pages ago , I had a payer in career mode who was bad at playing cut shots so I keep bowling him short outside the offstump , he played and misses few and then he started using pull shots and unorthodox tennis whack shot at mid off and starts connecting them so I widen the line and eventually got him out at gully. Felt very rewarding and realistic.

Feels like shadow of mordor nemesis system , if they can only tweak it more in order to have really stand out the weaknesses and strength even more.

I am very much enjoying the game. I've especially found a good rhythm with tests. A few tips: 1) Don't set too high of a second innings total or the AI will really stick around. 2) Bat your first innings on your normal settings and then change it to Hardest if you go into your next innings with a lead. It makes batting basically impossible but is fun when you have runs in hand. 3) Don't play with short leg or basically anyone 5 feet of the batter on the leg side. You will get too many wickets this way, even if they aren't bat pad you'll get a ton of acrobatic catches on well driven balls.

The new challenge I have is finding pitch settings that work so stock good length balls actually bounce near or about the top of off. Killing pitch bounce and ball bounce has helped but then the friction is so high that the ball rarely carries to slip. Similarly, using a hard deck leads to great AI bowling but then every good length ball is 6 inches above the bails while my full length ball still stays quite low.

Can people post what physics settings they've found the most success with in tests. I find the Rumple sliders are great for when I'm batting but I can't seem to find a sweet spot for when I'm bowling. Cheers :)
Oh man, you know what you boys need?

Some sort of group thread where you can all chat about sliders and feed into a decent, shared list of values that make the game better to play for all.

That'd be handy, I reckon :winky:

I'm finding at 10 that the short balls they bowl aren't wides. At 50 and 90 there were 3 an over.
I wonder if 'better' equals better bowler timing and speed. That would make them bounce higher I guess.

I might. I did that in C22 and it worked well.
Try ball quality at zero it makes ai bowl better to left-handers.
