EA is EA, BA is BA Period.Just sat and watched the gameplay for EA/Codies new WRC Game.
This to me is the ultimate example in confidence in a new product. 10 minutes of completely unfiltered gameplay, showing multiple stages, cameras and weather effects so you get the truest feel of what the game has to offer. Now when it comes out in 4 weeks time it could be a solid 6.5/7 but the developers believe in the game. Compare to Bug Ant who have fumbled three straight launches like they're Nathan Lyon at Headingley and they wonder why the masses are vocally cynical.
Shots fired at Gary there hahaJust sat and watched the gameplay for EA/Codies new WRC Game.

100%. The restrictions are slowly getting more and more intrusive. It’s disappointing but not surprising, they’ve slowly locked out the freedom people had with even licensed content throughout the series. I remember when it was possible to even edit the equipment that licensed players had but now you can’t even change their mentality.
The shared Academy will be a boon though since C22 sorely lacked custom content beyond a few recognised names. If the Academy works as intended that is.
I'm certainly not shilling for the former worst company in America. It's more a comment on how just ten minutes of footage has done exactly what it should've done by giving out excitement for this game. Tiebreak should be a decent game if they build on the solid foundations of AO and TWT but we don't know what's happening there, and Rugby could be anything.EA is EA, BA is BA Period.
It was either Garry or Mark Sanchez. Then I figured the cricket forum needed a true reference.Shots fired at Gary there haha
Their biggest leap forward was the one from no game to a pretty good one straight off with '14 and that was developed with the (unknown at that time), competition from Trickster Games.Big Ant are the only company making cricket games, and to be fair to them they have been the only ones for years. If they ever had competition they would either disappear or improve, it's that simple.
Pride and passion whatever the competition would do some good too.Big Ant are the only company making cricket games, and to be fair to them they have been the only ones for years. If they ever had competition they would either disappear or improve, it's that simple.
It's a shame they only work with legal teams of the licensees, as if anyone involved with the boards involved actually played the games they'd surely question what they're associating with.If people are happy with this and buy it then good luck to them. Its a free choice thankfully and I genuinely wish them pleasure with it.
Me, it just makes me angry it really does. BA just churn out half finished games that are abandoned after a series of patches that a) should have been in the released product to start with and b) often regress the bits that are working.
Ross gloated and gloated over the demise of Trickstar and added to the personal abuse of the developer.
Ross mate you are no better and no different..
