I loved Cricket 2004, the gameplay was so good. So far I haven't brought Cricket 24 because its doesn't look appealing. I will just stick with cricket 22 until this game is fixed...that Shoaib Akhtar bowling action is cool though.

Unfortunately, bowler looks like he'll land on the wrong foot when using Akhtar's action, and the release looks exactly the same as Perry's action. Not slingy like real life Akhtar.
 
  • The game doesn't feel different than C22, in fact, there are more bugs. AI still plays ugly-looking offside power shots. Batting after the new patch seems ok, but pretty similar to C22. No vibe like a new game. I was hoping for a major improvement in batting, but there is hardly any.
  • Fielding is still in shambles. Same. I didn't notice any major improvements, maybe fewer overthrows. Also, I couldn't take a run on an overthrow.
  • No collision detection yet.
  • No pitch wear. I simulated the game until the fourth day of a test match, the pitch looked the same. Not even the bowler's footmarks.
  • The crowd is still weird and dead. Rohit's wicket was celebrated in Wankhede while Sky's four didn't get any cheer. Simple things:just sad:
  • Weird cut scenes and glitches in the Stadium. Seems like a half-finished game or finished in a hurry.
Just wondering, how every game like this can pass their QA team. Is there any QA team, there must be. It's mind-boggling that so many things are continuing from C19. If it had been possible I would have taken a refund, but I will think now I donated the money for the happiness that Big Ants gave me over the years and hope in the next 5 years or so they finally figure out the correct path.
Also, everyone should criticize the game in fairness if they see the flaw. Didn't understand the need to be nice and supportive etc. etc. Do not troll the option. Lol. If something is bad it's bad. Period.

Waiting for miracle Patch.
 
Big Ant stole some code from Disney. I have crabs for fielders
 
Also, apart from gameplay improvements, I was expecting 3-4 more different batting animations. Boring same batting animations and ugly off-side lofted shots. This is 2023, C24, c'mon. Same cut scenes. No new HUD. Right now I feel I can get a better game out with C22 compared to this.

I think we can only play style 6 against pacers . Not sure on ps5 and xbox but pc.
 
The new ball animation is hilarious! I didnt have time to screenshot it but the umpire is standing with his arm out and a new ball nearly covering his actual balls. I rate we keep it just as a homage to bugs.
 
There was a auction mode that was advertised, what about it ? Does it come in Career mode
