Cricket 24 - General Discussion

Hope your words come true & we may get competitors

Well being pessimistic it will just strengthen their belief that the number one thing is licences and gameplay will be second or third or whereveer they prioritise it.
I think only the select few of us here focus on gameplay while the outside world does prefer licenses over an immersive experience. It would make sense to cater to the wider audience if you're looking from a sales point of view. The hope is that once the license stuff is done, perhaps the shift can happen towards gameplay related things.

The one biggest thing I would like from Cricket games in the future is vastly improved situational awareness in AI gameplay. The one thing annoying is that in the last few overs of a T20 game it’s downright immersion breaking to see the AI batsmen defend like a test match or the AI fielding team set attacking fields with little boundary protection.

In 2023 we should be demanding better.

Improved visuals. Hope there are no more chicken legs.

Have they fixed the weird "spotlight" that seems to follow the ball? The textures of the grass change as the bowler runs up, and as the ball travels through the outfield. Doesn't affect the gameplay at all, but boy is it distracting! I first wondered if it was just my screen, but have tried it on 2 others and all have the same issue.
