Yeah to quote rickyp on that one there are a couple of blokes that use Impala bats however they dont sponsor many international cricketers. Travis Friend that used to play for Zimbabwe was the only one they sponsored i think.
I already have that video on my HDD recorded in High Def
By the way, I compared Ponting's bat to a Bradbury. Tell me what you guys think. I did this very quickly and it does not do justice to my real photoshop skills, but anyway
How do you think his bat compared to an Impala? Anyone have any good pics of Impala bats? The Impala seem to have more of a Bow compared to the Bradbury. I would still think that Ponting is using a Bradbury. Don't think he does use an Impala. Look at the shape of the Bradbury compared to the image. What do you guys conclude?
Don't you know that Ponting buys bats off Impala with no stickers, takes those bats to Kookaburra and gets stickers/graphite put on?
Most international players do that.
Isn't that false advertising by people like Kookaburra? Saying that THEIR bats are used by top-class players like Ponting, when in actual fact he is using an Impala Redback or a Bradbury.
Oh right, I didn't think Kooka would take Impala bats and stick graphite on them.
My mistake.

If you were an International player, you wanted to use a good bat, but used a brand that didn't sponsor anyone, but had really good bats. Let's just say Kookaburra approached you and offered you around $50,000 to put stickers on the bat you use just to advertise their brand on TV. Would you take it?
EDIT: This make people think that Kookaburra's bats are good, as Interantional/State level players "choose" to use a REAL KOOKABURRA
That's basically what happens with most international players, but this sort of information isn't meant to be known to the public
No, It looks more of a bradbury, the Impala is way to curved go to kookaburra.biz and then aus and u see the video of the bat in better detaiul with no sticers
Ponting actually does use a Kookaburra. He goes into the factory and has the pile of bats waiting for him to try. He hits a ball into the roof and decides whether its good enough or not and takes a few with him. I got the inside word from a bloke working there.
Ok, So Ponting uses a Kookaburra? I heard from his former coach (when Ponting was a young player) that he still keeps in touch with Ponting and he said that He uses Impala. He did use Bradbury before though.
