How many posters use bats bought off Ebay or other websites?

My mate got an SS from Ebay a year or two ago and seems to be a decent bat.

I'm trying to avoid spending a lot of money on a bat that I'm not going to need to use very often as I'm a bowler, and rather buy something much cheaper off ebay that can do roughly the same job.

How reliable are these sellers and what are the quality of the bats generally??

I bought a bat off ebay for a laugh..I got a nice reebok bat. Cost me a tener..Very good quality for a bat that cost me 10 pounds, Before buying you should check the feedback of the seller. If he has alot of feedback and most of it is positive then the seller is most probably reliable. You get the odd person buying from the seller who hasnt read the description right or blames the seller instead of the posties who puts negative feedback.

Usually they post photo's so you can see the bat, you could also contact the person.

Anyways..Im not sure what bat im going to get needs to be light because i love to pull off the back foot. Need to have a ood look at the 2008 range,

Yeah, it has a great pick up as well. Really nice off the middle, it is a great bat. I knew it was gonna be mine as soon as i saw it, and luckily managed to afford the 165 buck price tag. And i am not intentionally rubbing it in if you think i am.

Best bat ive owned in 16 years of cricket. weight 2-8, Excellent pickup and a massive sweet middle.. everyone who has a knock about with it wants to buy it off of me lol.
